Free Paper /Poster Session At Annual Conference of IPS WZB

  1. Any member of IPS-WZB can present a free paper or poster.

2. To be eligible for presentation the paper must fulfill each of the following criteria.

(a) It must be a research paper based on work done in India. It must not have been published in a scientific journal or have been awarded any award of the IPS.  

(b) The article type for presentation includes Original articles /Brief Research Articles / Case control studies / Case series and Case Reports. Research  articles  following ethical standards and approved by the institutional ethics committee will be considered. 

(c) A structured Abstract for paper  of not more than 250 words as per guidelines (www.anip.co.in) for Original articles /Brief Research Articles / Case control studies and an unstructured Abstract of not more than 250 words for  Case series and Case Report should be mailed to the President of IPSWZB on or before the submission date. 

(d)The presenting author must be a member of IPS at the time of the submission of the paper. If the presenting author has applied for membership to IPS, a proof of the receipt issued by the Treasurer of IPS or transaction details should be submitted with the Abstract on or before the submission date. 

(e) It is mandatory for the presenting author to register as a delegate for the Annual conference of the IPSWZB at the time of submission of the paper/poster. 

(f) Only those papers with registered delegates and IPS membership will be considered for presentation in the free paper or poster session. Other entries not satisfying the criteria will be discarded 

(g)If the postgraduate student had sent entries for the Dr A V Shah Best Paper Award and IPS Nagpur and IK Mujawer Poster Award which were not selected for the respective awards, he/she/they would be intimated if they want to present the same in the Free Paper or Poster session.

3. The Abstract for paper or poster should be accompanied by a letter from the Head of Department stating that the research was carried out in that institute and the postgraduate student presenting the paper/poster is a resident doctor in that department.

The free poster session would either be in a digital format or as a physical poster depending on the organizing committee of the CME or Conference. The delegates presenting in free poster session should confirm the same from the Organizing Committee.

(i) Digital Format will  include a total of 5 slides for presentation for e poster.
