- This award has been instituted following an endowment made by family of late Dr. Govind Bang, a Past President of the IPS WZB.
- The currently existing rules for the PG Quiz will be followed for this award
- The award will be conferred upon first and second winners of PG quiz organized by the IPSWZB at each Annual conference of the zone.
- First prize will be Rs 3000/- along with a certificate to the winning team and second prize of Rs 2000/- along with a certificate to the runners up team
